Pray for the US and Israel
Tonight I watched as many people did a very disturbing episode of Jericho on CBS. Obviously the scenario on this show is fictional, but the “thoughts” are very possible. Nuclear warfare is a prominent weapon used in the Tribulation Period as the Bible points out in Revelation 8:7, and 9:18.
Jesus told us in Matthew 24:6 (KJV), “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” All around our world right now there are so many “rumours” as the Bible says that it is almost impossible to count them. Our friends in Israel are at a crossroads with Iran and Syria, plus numerous terrorist groups including Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad. Of course Al-Queda would love to wipe them off the map as well. God’s people have been hated throughout the ages. Jesus told them that it would not be because of them, but it would be because of Himself (John 7:7 KJV). We must pray for our brothers and sisters in Israel, and most importantly pray for Acts 3:19-21KJV to come to past in Israel:
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Christ is coming very soon! Be ready!! The road is not all gloomy, it is looking bright! Redemption draws nigh for those who believe in Him.
