Ever go into the office after a weekend and all people can say is how tired they are and moan over the fact it’s MONDAY?? Well God made Monday’s too, just as much as He made Friday’s and weekends. What an awesome time to turn the tide in a situation and spread some joy.
Philippians 4:8 from the Message Bible tells us what we ought to think about:
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious–the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.
I would say this sums it all up doesn’t it? Go about your day, and fill your mind with God’s things. Be a thermostat and not a thermometer. Set the stage today!

Many of us go through the days of life thinking about the daily tests and trials we go through. We wonder if God is even aware of our situation and if He really does care. It’s easy in a tough situation to believe that God is a million miles away and you are all alone on the walk of life. Those days seem like torture and it always seems that the dog eats your homework or the neighbor’s tree falls over on the fence or something awful happens at just the worse of times. Often questions of why and could I have done something different comes through your mind, while searching for just that glimmer of hope beyond yourself. Meditate today on God’s Holy word in Psalm 34:19,
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth them out of them ALL!!” - Psalm 34:19
What an awesome promise delivered to us today! As you face your day, know that God has promised you that He will deliver you OUT! May I remind you that sometimes God doesn’t deliver as we would like to think. However I assure you that as you look back on today, you will see the mighty hand of God deliver you at just the right time! Call upon Him before your day, He will go with you as you face the road of life.
Comment on your testimonies of deliverance! What has God done for you in those times where it appears midnight is just around the corner and it couldn’t get more cold and dark. As we give testimony to our deliverances, we are speaking prophetically over ourselves that He will do it again!
